Well done Bandy!

Dominant performance; served at 70% and won 58% of points, never looked threatened and why should he.

Nalbandian def. Starace 6-3 6-3...

so much for this match being David's Waterloo.

Excellent performance after a tough opening first service game. Nalbandian served very well and was able to run Starace around and overall played a very good match.

Since when did Nalbandian become motivated for mug tournaments like this?
It's an ISG event, more points on offer.

Great play by David, totally different compared to Buenos Aires's last week, Starace had no chances. Keep your serve % at this level please!

David served pretty well. I'm impressed. I thought he would be out in R1.

He is still jerking around like he is on a practice session, trying to hit winners with every ball, S&V (on clay)?, he looked like he is irritated that he has to play, and yet winning comfortably. I don't see him motivated at all, but his confidence is so sky high and that's making all the difference.

as I pointed earlier, David is playing completely by free will, he looks so unconcerned.
I dunno if he's still tired because he's been playing short matches and he's not running much but I haven't seen him so calm as right now.
I mean, at Madrid he had nerves of steel. Here he's just walking through.
Yeah it is a low level tournament, but so was copa telmex. And they are 2 different davids.

I don't know if you can call that "in the zone," but a tired David is playing much more inspired tennis. Not sure what it is or where it's coming from, but I hope he can keep it up.
