With the AO near the end and all of the discussion geared towards that, I wanted to take a sneak peak at what's coming in February 3-March 1 and have discussions about it!!

Week Of Feb. 3-9...

Cordoba, Argentina:
1 SCHWARTZMAN, Diego ARG 14
2 PELLA, Guido ARG 25
3 DJERE, Laslo SRB 38
4 RAMOS-VINOLAS, Albert ESP 41
5 CUEVAS, Pablo URU 45
6 VERDASCO, Fernando ESP 49
7 LONDERO, Juan Ignacio ARG 50
8 SONEGO, Lorenzo ITA 52

Montpellier, France:
1 GOFFIN, David BEL 11
2 SHAPOVALOV, Denis CAN 15
3 WAWRINKA, Stan SUI 16
4 CARRENO BUSTA, Pablo ESP 27
5 KRAJINOVIC, Filip SRB 40
6 EVANS, Daniel GBR 42
7 MANNARINO, Adrian FRA 43
8 SIMON, Gilles FRA 55

Pune, India:
1 PAIRE, Benoit FRA 24
2 BERANKIS, Ricardas LTU 66
3 KOHLSCHREIBER, Philipp GER 79
4 TRAVAGLIA, Stefano ITA 84
5 KWON, Soonwoo KOR 88
6 KARLOVIC, Ivo CRO 95
7 STEBE, Cedrik-Marcel GER @95
8 CARUSO, Salvatore ITA 96

My take: Pune looks extremely weak outside of Paire; Montpellier despite some withdrawals is fairly stacked; and Cordoba has a few names, but Schwartzman should win the title here!!

Week of Feb. 10-16...

Rotterdam, Netherlands:
1 MEDVEDEV, Daniil RUS 5
2 TSITSIPAS, Stefanos GRE 6
3 BAUTISTA AGUT, Roberto ESP 9

7 SHAPOVALOV, Denis CAN 15
8 WAWRINKA, Stan SUI 16

Buenos Aires, Argentina:
1 THIEM, Dominic AUT 4
2 BERRETTINI, Matteo ITA 8
3 SCHWARTZMAN, Diego ARG 14
4 PELLA, Guido ARG 25
5 CORIC, Borna CRO 28
6 GARIN, Cristian CHI 33
7 LAJOVIC, Dusan SRB 34
8 DJERE, Laslo SRB 38

Uniondale, New York:
1 ISNER, John USA 19
2 KYRGIOS, Nick AUS 30
3 RAONIC, Milos CAN 31
4 OPELKA, Reilly USA 36
5 QUERREY, Sam USA 44
6 NORRIE, Cameron GBR 53
7 HUMBERT, Ugo FRA 57
8 KECMANOVIC, Miomir SRB 59

My take: Rotterdam is very stacked; Buenos Aires has some good names; and Uniondale is the weakest, but I'll be there live for men's singles and doubles finals!!

Week of Feb. 17-23...

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil:
1 THIEM, Dominic AUT 4
2 BERRETTINI, Matteo ITA 8

4 RAONIC, Milos CAN 32
5 OPELKA, Reilly USA 36
6 MANNARINO, Adrian FRA 43
7 ALBOT, Radu MDA 46

5 SHAPOVALOV, Denis CAN 14
6 KHACHANOV, Karen RUS 17
7 AUGER-ALIASSIME, Felix CAN 21

My take: Rio has a few good names at the very top; Delray Beach looks like a weak draw mainly; and Marseille is fairly stacked overall!!

Week of February 24-March 1...

Acapulco, Mexico:
1 NADAL, Rafael ESP 1
2 ZVEREV, Alexander GER 7
3 BERRETTINI, Matteo ITA 8
4 ANDERSON, Kevin RSA @14
5 WAWRINKA, Stan SUI 15
6 DIMITROV, Grigor BUL 19
7 ISNER, John USA 20
8 DE MINAUR, Alex AUS 21

Santiago, Chile:
1 SCHWARTZMAN, Diego ARG 14
2 PELLA, Guido ARG 25
3 CORIC, Borna CRO 28
4 GARIN, Cristian CHI 36
5 DJERE, Laslo SRB 40
6 RAMOS-VINOLAS, Albert ESP 42
7 CUEVAS, Pablo URU 44
8 RUUD, Casper NOR 46

Dubai. United Arab Emirates:
1 DJOKOVIC, Novak SRB 2
2 FEDERER, Roger SUI 3
3 TSITSIPAS, Stefanos GRE 6
4 BAUTISTA AGUT, Roberto ESP 9
5 MONFILS, Gael FRA 10
6 FOGNINI, Fabio ITA 12
7 KHACHANOV, Karen RUS 16
8 RUBLEV, Andrey RUS 18

My take: Acapulco is fairly stacked overall; Santiago is weak overall; and Dubai is where it's at, you have Djokovic, Rogie, Tsitsipas, RBA, Monfils, Fognini, Khachanov, and Rublev as a top 8, that is one stacked QF lineup, I say Rogie wins this title!!

Your thoughts on everything??

Guess that he will skip them in case he wins on Sunday. Should give up his clay explorer status and let these MM tournaments be played among the mugs we deserve in South America.

I feel like the quality of Delray's list has really diminished over the last few years, just like all American 250s. Imagine buying tickets for an Albot-Evans or Tiafoe-Gojowczyk final?

Delray, NY, Atlanta, Newport, Winston Salem all have garbage entry lists, probably near the worst among ATP250s.

Thankfully, the U.S. hosts IW/Miami, Cinci, and a slam so it more than makes up for that.

Pune Open is the weakest field I have ever seen.

Sad that the tradition of Indian tennis has declined over the past decades, from Chennai Open at the beginning of the year, involving big names of the past, such as Nadal, Cilic, Moya, Wawrinka to Pune Open in February where it has become an irrelevant tournament.

Yeah since I live on LI, I'm going to Uniondale event on Sunday Feb. 16 for the men's singles and doubles F, tickets already reserved!! As for Dubai, I have a great feeling that Rogie will defend his title here...

Uniondale's top five players: Isner, Kyrgios, Raonic, Opelka, Querrey. Servebot galore ? can't make this up.
Now that will be one boring botfest! I feel for the ticket holders.

In Kei we trust (honestly
I'm hoping physically will be ok, regardless of outcome)

Montpellier just picked up FAA and Dimitrov.

I would personally love to see an Albot/Evans final, both entertaining.

Pune is great, solid opportunity for plenty of players that otherwise don't see main draws.

Once again, the South American tournaments do nothing for me, it's it's own mini-series. A month for a dozen Hispanic clay-courters to maintain their status in the top 50-75 for another year.

Neither Albot nor Evans are playing Montpellier. Both withdrew days ago.

Those are not seeds. Those are the top of entry lists. Quite a few of them have already pulled out of those tournaments or will do it in the coming days. And the ranking of the remaining ones will change.

Thiem should skip BA for sure

Rafa will have chances to get back to #1 even if Djoker wins by Acapulco time. Nole can snatch another 4 weeks at #1 beating Thiem

How about Dubai, will it be a Rogie-Djokovic F??
Maybe one of the few courts in the world where Roger can win. Too far ahead though

It was a response to a hypothetical situation that was mentioned on a previous post as an example, and regardless of that, Evans didn't withdraw days ago, he withdrew eight hours ago.
