How much of a shock is this considering Ferrero prefers clay courts and isn't comforable on the hard stuff?

ferrero has made it to the US Open finals :haha:

bravo Clément
Was that supposed to be funny?
JC:sad::sad::sad: Terrible result, terrible:sad: After playing so well recently...............
Poor JCF. This must feel bad.

If I was trying to make a comeback, I wouldn't want to play Arnaud in the first round.

Sorry,that just slipped my mind!
Wow! , I am shocked, considering that Ferrero was playing better tennis.
And he lost in straight sets...
Well done Clément :yeah:
It's supposed to have been unusually hot and humid in NYC this week, and if he wasn't bothered by the weather then JC has no excuse.

This is frustrating because he's capable of playing so much better but he's not getting his game together. I don't think we're going to see the 02-03 JCF again any time soon. Target date? 2008 maybe?
your kidding...I saw him in practice on Sunday...he looked fine.
that stinks!!!
It made my day :woohoo:

I am very happy for Arnaud. :yeah: :clap2:
Blame PMac. His exact words: "Ferrero is the only player to trouble Federer in his quarter."

 He might prefer clay courts but his record on hard is something many lower ranked players would love to have. Not to mention his 2003 runner up position...

But as to the topic... just when we thought he was getting back to vintage 2003 level, he does this.
WOW :D:D
 This is out of the blue and to think he was doing fairly well in the US Open series...

I can't believe he got beaten by a guy who had to come through qualies even though Clement was a good player a few years back.

Reality TV at its best eh? ;)

WTF! CARLOS MOYA IS IN THAT QUARTER TOO. I guess Carlos is going to have to wear the new mantle in that quarter now, and that can't exactly be comforting to anyone.

Does anyone know why the livescores on usopen.org are still up for Clement-Ferrero, paused at matchpoint?
Juanqui :smash:
