Might I also point out that when Cincy points come off, Roddick and Coria will more than likely replace Moya and Hewitt in the top 5...at least temporarily. Assuming Roddick defends some of his Canada points and Coria does well in at least one more tournament.
Where are those who said that
Agassi and Hewitt were #1 and #2, so they'll destroy their opposition?
Looks like easy draws inflated their rankings and egos as well as their
fans'. When they go on grass and clay, they get outsmarted in long matches
by underrated opponents!
Agassi and Hewitt are sore losers, and people won't accept that
they're not as versatile and strong as they claim.
Agassi's not a top 5 player of all time because if his career started
2 years ago, he wouldn't be a top 5 player like a decade ago.
Hewitt has only his skinny legs to handle ball retrieving, but he has
little power or variety on all surfaces.
Maybe you don't understand that competition a few years ago was not at the level of today.
Do you really believe that Agassi between 22-27 could win
U. S. Open, Wimbledon and French Open with Ferrero, Federer, Safin, Roddick in his draw in 2003?
A moron could see the comfortable draws he got when he won his last 2 Australian
Open. Clement and
Schuettler weren't exactly threatening him in Australia. If he hadn't won the Australian, his ranking would
be 4 or 5.
Nadal has owned the Us Open this era and also has 3 IWs and 5 Canadian Opens. Only Djokovic matches Nadals prowess in North America but ultimately the US Open is the most prestigious event and Nadal owns Djokovic there.
Without doubt Nadal is not only greatest clay courter ever he is also...
Maybe use this for some nice odds and just giving an outlet to write it down...
Basha was a 2.55 against Struff, I'm glad I took that on... but I took it in a multi, so now I need Thiem to come through.
Im not one for mickey mouse 500 events and exhos like Laver Cup ATP Cup and WTF. However i caught a glimpse while i was at gym of Djokovic v Monfils and Nadal v Korean Chap highlights.
Nadal looks relaxed cheerful and dare i say a bit smug and the swagger is at its best.
Interesting. According to Blick he was tested 9 times at tournaments and 20 times private. I wonder how does the rest of the top players stand in this area?
As i recall, Serena had a controversy last year, regarding the dopings tests.
