Obama, thanks to filibuster was not allowed to raise taxes much.
And his 8 years was the worst yearsof economic management since Carter, perhaps

And stop talking about Biden infrastructure plan. There is no such thing. There is a welfare plan of funneling trillions to Dem Party affiliated union-controlled state owned entities. Which will be spent on all kind of green lunacy pork and bridges to nowhere and projects with ETA "5 years from now" at any point of time. Trump at least meant infrastructure when he talked about it.

Trump talked about a lot of stuff - walls that Mexico would pay for, roads and bridges, 15 Covid cases and then it is over, etc.
But all he did was talk, he never actually did anything. Which is probably a good thing.

Didn’t Trump love to quote the DOW as a measure of his great economic success?

Obama crushed him.

Your revisionism efforts are getting boring.

If you're really in your mid 70s like you claimed, it's insanely disappointing. How can one be so brainwashed?
Good question. Have you asked the mind-boggling 70% of Republicans who think Trump won the election?

I find it troubling that people 'cult like' follow someone because the other side is bad. That goes both ways.

Outgoing Syria Envoy Admits Hiding US Troop Numbers; Praises Trump’s Mideast Record This is a prime example. Whatever his reasons were for it, I give a massive W to Trump for at least trying to stop this war. This a humanitarian effort worth Nobel Peace Prize (the same that Obama got for literally nothing and later lit up the whole Middle East). Instead, charlatans in the government lied and stopped him from doing that. So who's really in charge in the US government? A commander-in-chief can't pull out troops but can be a ruthless racist dictator? Come on, man... Also, Trump prepared to withdraw troops from Afghanistan and suddenly it's a Biden's plan?

I also mentioned in my previous posts about the things he's done wrong (e.g. Iran) and his shenanigans in general (guy's a loose canon). You, on the other hand, view him exclusively bad. Like every single thing he's done is EVIL but can't point anything wrong about your Bidens and Obamas.

In your research on Trump’s government contracts did you come across Fisher Sand and Gravel. It got $1.3 billion of Pentagon money to build 30 miles of wall. It did not do well in the bidding, but Trump pushed for it to get the contract after it started showing up on far right news channels - and it did.
Is that better or worse than what you are imagining Biden will do?

It makes me laugh that you adored one of the most corrupt men in America for 4 years and now are worried about corruption-to-be.

Comparing to covering his son for milking Putin-linked Eastern European gas company , personally, for million dollars a year? Nothing really.

U people still missing the point. We clearly saw what happend to a potentially progressive candidate in Sanders back in 2016 or any alternative/independent party/candidate. Republicrats & Demopublicans r interchangable & nothing changes in core policies until more competition for 2 party system is sanctioned & supported financially.

Do you really see no difference between the policies of Trump and Biden? Or the Bushs and Clinton or Obama? I agree both are in the right half of the spectrum we have in Europe, but still, the difference between them is massive.

Not in the long run. It’s all pandering for popularity from their constituents & electoral bases, nothing more, nothing less & ultimately nothing changes. System is flawed or as some like to state corrupted & led by puppets.

Do you have an alternative? You sound like you think there is a legal limit on the number of parties.

Well, that is very specific.

But why worry, even if there were any specific illegalities, Biden will just call his son a wonderful person and pardon him. Isn’t America great? LOL

That's not the end of the story. You speculated for four years that Putin has something on Trump. Much more likely he has something on Biden. Something tells me that while Putin got nothing of practical use out of Trump, he'll get something out of Bidon and soon.

Biden? As far as I remember, Trump was a puppet of the Russian state.

I wouldn’t hang my hat on what Giuliani tells you. It might blow up,in your face.

You don’t think Putin got anything out of Trump? Well, if you say he didn’t, then I believe you. I don’t see why I wouldn’t.

The "both sides" propaganda from right wing media is sadly very effective.

There will never b a completely egalitarian society even in socialist countries, much less in free market ones, but it's clear as the blue sky that the duopoly system has run its course & need of overhauling. Without fair election reforms & proper platforms, alternative parties & systems will continue to b overshadowed by powerful lobbyist groups that fuel the duopoly usually at the expense of average citizen.
