It's the other way around. You are far left and judge everything from that vantage point.buddyholly is far from being a left radical. He's a centre-right guy, but I wouldn't expect someone who is far right like you to be able to distinguish between the two.
I live in NYC and in NY, full of folks like you, I am indeed considered a right wing type of guy.
But then, on my skiing trips to Wyoming, Utah or even upstate NY, when talking with locals, from their vantage point I am actually called a left wing kind of guy. And that kind of folk is half of America, mind you.
So, yeah, by standards of modern libschizophreny of big cities, I am on the right. But averagely? I am exactly middle of the road moderate. Mostly socially liberal but also anti-progressive. Classic liberal, if we go by original definition of liberalism, which would never consider socialist nutsos like Sanders or AOC as anything even remotely liberal.
