Yeah, he’s young and already playing like a legend. Fed fans claim that this is weaker than Berdych, Tsonga, Hewitt, Baghdatis, Gonzo and Roddick.
lol, are you making the claim Sinner RIGHT NOW is a worse player than Lleyton Hewitt?

so what were your arguments ?
That's just not true, unless hitting the ball harder=better. Schwartzman wouldn't have bottled those easy volleys/drop shots, would have retirned better, and would have generally made fewer errors. Hard to compare Nadal's defensive game to Thiem's offensive one obviously, but just compare rankings and recent results.
So you seriously consider that a guy who couldn't hold his serve or hit a winner for 2+ hours and got broken like 15 times played better than Sinner? Their match was all about defense, here both attacked as soon as they could.

Still think Nadal's shots aren't weak? Lol
He's blocking and redirecting Sinner's power with such ease, which was evident from many points viewed by low angle [court level] camera. It has to be both powerful and extremely accurate or strategically well placed to disturb Nadal who btw isn't naturally a ballbasher, but he did rip a few when he was presented with an opportunity.

He's allowing Sinner to bully him. Novak will utterly trash him in straights, lol.

Schwartzman is like 5'5 lol, of course he's going to have a way harder time holding serve than Sinner.

There is one shot that's missing in Sinners repertoire and that's the backhand down the line. If he would play that more often he would have had a chance.

Djokovic has the best double-handed bh dtl and that's the KEY SHOT that turned the whole H2H around. Sinner doesn't have that kind of shot.

Precisely that THIS Sinner (i.e. Sinner today, playing on clay), is better than Hewitt in the same situation.
But that person was saying Sinner was stronger than Fed's Slam opposition essentially. Hewitt was never a contender on clay, but was obviously a way way better player than current Sinner.
