Chung missed two slams and yet still has more slam points than the rest. Still, i think we will see more of nextgen getting to at least QFs next year.

Khachanov seems very promising to the fact that he wasn't projected to have this level of a breakthrough this year, yet in general may have more of a chance of winning a Slam AND another Masters -- maybe he's going to be World #1 first before Sascha, even if for a little while.

Good news for NextGen is that they lost hardly any matches to LostGen at slams. Defining LostGen as 1990 to 1994, exactly 4, all of them at Roland Garros against Thiem (2), Pouille and Schwartzman.

There's nothing suprising or new here - Zverev sucks at Grand Slams, Chung is too injury-prone to take him seriously right now, but he has big ptential, and the others were too young to make any noise during Grand Slams, but they were able to fight on some solid level against higher ranked players like Khachanov or Shapovalov.

Next season will tell us much more - Khachanov, Coric, Medvedev, Tsitsipas are established top20 players, De Minaur and Shapovalov won't be teenagers anymore and Zverev is current WTF winner, he can't go any higher in other tournaments than Grand Slams. I'd expect great things not only from Zverev, most young players can make huge strides between seasons.
