Which countries in the world have you been to, and where do you plan to be?

I figured it would be interesting to see which parts of the world MTFers have been to, and if people have plans in common.

As for me, I have been to:

South America - Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay.
Central America - Bahamas, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Haiti, Netherlands Antilles, U.S. Virgin Islands.
North America - United States and Mexico.
Europe - United Kingdom, France, Spain, Gibraltar, Portugal, Hungary, Czech Republic, Poland, Germany (only the Munich airport).
Africa - nothing.
Asia - nothing.
Australasia - nothing.

Places that I've never been to but intend on visiting some day:

South America - Uruguay (Montevideo and Punta del Este), Chile (Santiago and maybe a ski resort like Valle Nevado) and I'd like to go back to Buenos Aires to watch a Boca-River match or a Davis Cup tie.
North America - New York and Las Vegas, because I've only been to Florida and California yet.
Europe - The Netherlands, Monaco, Italy (Vatican included), Germany (Berlin), Sweden, Russia, maybe the Croatian seaside (Dubrovnik) and definitely a return to Paris.
Africa - South Africa surely, Namibia and Angola maybe.
Asia - The Middle East, especially Dubai.
Australasia - Australia, maybe New Zealand.

Europe - Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, the Netherlands, Denmark, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Sweden, Norway, Finland, England, Spain, Italy, France, Monaco ;)...could be possible that I am forgetting some here.
South America - Brazil, Uruguay, Paraguay
Central America - Dominican Republic
North America - United States, Canada
Africa - None
Asia - Japan, Hong Kong, Macao, South Korea
Australasia - None

I would love to visit Russia, Australia, Croatia, Mexico and some other countries.

Someone might think you've never been to Germany on purpose. You've nearly been in all European countries but not in the country right next to you? Maybe it's because of the bad relationship between both countries.

...I've got an afterthought:
Places that I've never been to but definitely intend to visit within the next 10 years:

South America - Brazil.
Europe - The U.K., France, maybe Germany, uncertain about the rest.
Africa - Tanzania, and Kenya. (...gotta see Mount Kilimanjaro, and Batian Peak (Mt Kenya).)
Asia - Thailand, (if I'm still single; ) Japan, maybe (if I have money...)
Australasia - Australia.

I've been to:
Europe - Germany (twice), Holland, Czech Republic
Asia - Malaysia (many many times :lol: ), Thailand, Indonesia, China
Australasia - Australia

I'd like to go too many places to list but I'm most eager to visit France. ;)

Australia again, Norway, Canada, Ireland

Want to go to: Russia and Czech Republic again, Iceland, Chile, Ukraine, Cuba, Mongolia.

I have never been out of South America, and I doubt I will ever be... :p

I have mostly traveled to the inner country of Argentina, but also had the chance to go to Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay and Chile.

I would like to visit many countries.

Peru is the one I want to visit the most in South America. Honduras or Costa Rica would be nice in the Caribbean.

I would love to visit Africa, countries like Ethiopia and Kenya in the east or Morocco and maybe Egypt in the north. Visiting the Republic of Congo would be great.

In Europe, Greece and Croatia are among my favorites. But the place I most want to go is Spain: especially Euskadi and some place in the Mediterranean Sea like Barcelona. The European part of Russia too, Saint Petersburg in particular.

Turkey, Cambodia and India are my first choices in Asia. And New Zealand in Oceania.

But to tell the truth I would prefer getting to know other places of my country before going abroad.

You guys have travelled a lot! :eek: Some very international people in here! :lol:

Well, I've been to USA [West Coast], Mexico [part of, mainly Tijuana, Ensenada, San Luis?, Well, all those cities], PerĂş [but just Lima and It wasn't for tourism, I had a flight problem.. :shrug:], Uruguay, Brasil [:hearts:].

..The funny thing is that I don't know even half of Chile and I know places outside Chile :lol:. I've been from Copiapó to Chiloé!

..and I would love to go to Argentina, Colombia, Venezuela, all the Caribbean.
Europe, well, I would like to visit every place I have the oportunity to.

Now my teeny-tiny list :eek:

I have been to England, Scotland and Wales and spent one day in France when I was 2 years old. We went to the UK for a 5 month holiday. Unfortunately my recollections are a little vague :p

I live in Melbourne and I've travelled so far around Australia to Brisbane, Gold Coast, Cairns, Sydney and Perth. Would love to see Perth again as well as Tasmania here but there is a whole lot of overseas travel to do too.

On August 30 I am leaving for a 26 day tour of Canada (Vancouver, Vancouver Island, the Rockies, Montreal, Toronto, Niagara Falls, Ottawa and Quebec City) and the Alaskan inside passage :)

I would pretty much go anywhere in the world other than places like the middle-east. But the places I most would like to see are:

South and Central America: Costa Rica, Ecuador (and the Galapagos Islands), Argentina, Brazil

North America: Canada, Alaska and Hawaii are the only places that I really want to see.. I have 2 of them covered already)

Europe: UK (again - I have family there), Holland, Spain (Barcelona, Madrid),
Croatia, Romania, Switzerland, Czech Rep (Prague), Germany, Austria, Hungary, Poland, Russia

Australasia: New Zealand

Africa: Kenya, Tanzania, Egypt

North America - Canada, Mexico, USA - my home.

Europe - Poland, Ukraine, Hungary, Austria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, England. Some countries it was all too brief a visit.

Would like to see in Europe: 1. Italy 2. Spain 3. France - The big 3. :)

South America: 1. Brazil 2. Argentina 3. Chile

I don't know that I'll ever make Africa, Asia, or Australia :sad:

Europe: Germany (born here), Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, Montenegro, Serbia, Hungary, France, Great Britain, Netherlands, Belgium, Vatican.

North and Central America: USA, Bermudas (I count them to Central America though they are still a British Colony.)

Asia: Turkey

Where I want to go:

Europe: Portugal and Spain

South America: Brazil :inlove: and Argentina.

Australia: Australia

I've been to Czech Rep.,Germany,France,Spain,Monaco(and also Italy and Austria but only in transit).Rather short list unfortunately.:p
And there's too many places I'd like to go so I just name a few;)

Europe: Finland,Belgium,Hungary,Croatia,Greece,Switzerland,UK,Iceland,Norway

Asia:India,China,Nepal,Japan,Thailand,Indonesia,malaysia

North America:US(mostly national parks),Canada

South America:Venezuela(Roraima :p ),Brasil,Peru,Argentina

Africa:RSA,Tanzania,Kenya,Madagascar

Australia and New Zeland

I would like to go on the US west coast since I only traveled on the east coast...

I've been to Argentina (twice) and Paraguay. But I can say I know very well my country :)

I'd like to go to so many places, it would be hard to list them all. My favourites are Czech Republic, Cuba, Maldives, Botswana and China.
