They hate unpredictability. They don't want the genuine, chaotic thrill of the sport; they want a pre-packaged narrative—the "Sinner-Alcaraz show," week in and week out—to boost their TV ratings and sell their precious sponsorships! The other players? Just paid extras designed to make the chosen ones look good until the inevitable, rigged final.

They're not just organizing a tournament, they're directing a show, and they've already written the script. Wake up! It's all about the optics and the money

I had begun to suspect an agenda when the stadium was emptied for Zverev's first GS final at 2020 USO, the slower balls introduced and now the doctored courts all seem to be pointing to the effort of a shadowy cabal preventing him from becoming a slam winner...

Is that a quote? You didn't put quotation marks. Can you clarify?

I think the criticism is fair, but slower courts aren’t just to benefit the top 2 (and, as other said, probably doesn’t benefit Sinner as much). However, matches with longer points are generally more exciting; I wouldn’t want to go out of my way to watch a match in person where the guys are hitting aces or ending points by the third shot the whole time.

LOL I can't believe this guy is whining & complaining about courts being slowed down, when that's literally his playing style - slowly grinding through points and waiting for opponents to make UEs.

Sure it may hurt his serves, but it perfectly suits and is tailored to his own game.

I don't disagree with him, but the audacity to complain about that as if that's why he's losing to them and stopped winning the big tournaments is absurd. It should help him and give him a better chance to beat both Sinner and Alcaraz than vice versa.

This guy is nothing but a sore loser and I'm glad he never won a slam and never will.

Also, slower conditions isn't tailored towards helping Sinner and Alcaraz make more finals, but in general to make matches a bit longer than if conditions were faster, so fans can get a bigger bang for their buck for ALL matches they come to watch.

This. I could see faster surfaces favor guys like Bublik for example, but not Zverev.

Also, do you remember in the past Zverev used to complain that tournaments made courts faster to favor Federer?

Zverev is a complete loser. He is the biggest loser and whiner of all time.

Why would they need to? He seems to be doing a perfectly fine job of it without any help.

Serenity Prayer. The only thing you can do is focus on becoming a better person & player.

If anything, heavier balls are arguably even more of a problem than slower courts. Despite multiple seasons of complaints, Big Ball & ATP are inducing more shoulder, elbow, & wrist injuries by refusing to lighten them for long term player health & welfare. Players might need to band together stat for a class action lawsuit against the ATP & major manufacturers: Slazenger, Wilson, Dunlop, Yonex.

That doesn't make any sense. Why should Carlos and Sinner profit from the same surface every week while Zverev is the flexible king of adjustements who plays serve and volley on grass or what?

this guy always has a excuse… just admit you are not talented enough with this pusher grinding boring game

as if he would beat either Sinner or Alcaraz at the faster surfaces 🤣🤣🤣

If you look at the Court Pace Index right now, courts are actually generally faster than they were back in 2017, when Roger Federer was winning GS and M1000 and did not seem to think there was any problem with the courts.

As for Zverev, I don't really know why a pusher would complain about courts being slow. The way he talks you'd think he's going out there trying to outpower everybody.

God damn tournament organisers... they've ruined everything again for Zverev.

By rigging the draw for him to play Rinderknech they got exactly what they wanted.

Sascha is right again & saw all of this coming.

How's he supposed to win tennis tournaments if Alcaraz,Sinner or.. Rinderknech are in his path?

Tournament directors build slower courts to favor Rinderknech!

He's part of the problem

Wimbledon should be the fastest court on tour- double its current speed
US OPEN should be number 2- super fast but also high bouncing
Australia should be medium fast- i guess its fine as is
RG should be slower

there shold be less hard court masters
at least 1 grass master

and at least 1 indoor carpet event
