As Sinner contends for another slam title & with basically $5 million on the line a victory in the final will basically take his $9 million that he's won to circa 14 for the year.

The record is $21 million that's lasted 10 years right now but with the Year End finals in Turin and Sinner a good chance to go 5-0 again and pocket another near 5 or so it means he wouldn't be too far off particularly if he did play Shanghai & Paris.

That takes Sinner basically out of the equation now.

However, this US OPEN win takes this years prizemoney won by Alcaraz to $15 million +.

Carlos still has a shot himself to do so but will have to go 5-0 at the Year End Championships & do well & then some.

The latest Japan Open title snared by Alcaraz now takes him to $16 million in prizemoney won for the year now.

He's now $5 million away from the record but has sidelined himself during the Shanghai Masters.

He doesn't need to win the Paris Masters if that's his next ranking event but just win a few matches & then go 5-0 at Turin to break it...
