A feat that hasn’t been achieved since Djokovic won 11 in 2015.

With today’s win over Fritz he’s at 8 with the following three tournaments remaining on his schedule:

• Shanghai Masters
• Paris Masters
• ATP Finals

Alcaraz is going pure Federer 04-07 over the next 3 years. He’s likely going to have an even longer dominant stretch bc there is nobody in the age 17–age 21 (younger than Alcaraz) that is coming up behind him that can challenge him.

Only thing that could stop him is injuries. All the players older than him or currently in their primes he’s already better than. And Alcaraz at 22 is stil 2-3 years away from his own peak.

This guy, if you give him a servebot capability which he’s developed in the last year, is unplayable. He’s very Federer-like with the attacking variety, with the defense of Rafa. That’s a player that isn’t losing to anyone

In the 21st Century tell me all these 6'3+ Players that have won Grand Slams ? Since being Tall matters ? 5'11 to 6'2 is the perfect height.. anything 6'3 and Over is bad just ask Zverev, Medvedev, Fritz... Nadal was only 6'0.25 he had a weak Serve and still won 22 Slams lol... Jannik sinner at 6'3.25 is not going to dominate history has proven it...

Id say Rafa is about 6'0.5, just bad posture. But if you analize the Big 3 they all have very similar shoulder height level, only Djokovic has a much longer neck and taller head (A Prime example of this is Gasquet who standing next to people close to his height he has a much lower shoulder level and just very long neck and tall head), so his slight height advantage over Rafa and Fed didnt help much in the serve, unless he had comparatively longer arms which would have given him a bit of an advantage.

I think Alcaraz will most likely have at least a 90 % winning rate this season. Counting the matches in Tokyo, he is 66-6 for the season. Winning one of Paris or Turin, he will have more than 70 wins, and with only one extra loss, he will be well above the 90 % mark. Assuming he gets one more loss in Paris and one more loss in Turin, he will have eight losses. Then he needs six more wins to reach 80 matches and a 90% win rate. Modest results, like a quarter in Paris and going 3-0 in the group but losing in the semi in Turin, would suffice. If he doesn't win Paris, and gets two losses in Turin, he won't make it, of course. But given that Alcaraz has made 9 finals in a row, I don't see that happening.

Federer has very long arms, which helped his serve. Alcaraz and Sinner also long arms, especially Sinner.
Nadal and Djokovic do not look like they have long arms, and they also dont explode on the serve, especially not Djokovic, perhaps they had pain if they went all-in on the serve. They had enough strenghts in their baseline games.
