Watched some of 1st set. Altmaier put up a decent challenge. Got to a bp in the 8th gm but couldnt close. After that was academic.

I dont think Sinner has been 100% since the Dimitrov match at Wimbledon.

 

Altmaier turns into prime Wawrinka when he plays against Sinner, but Sinner still won in rather comfortable 3 sets.
A tricky draw for Sinner still with Griekspoor next round. The positive is, even if the Dutch has a set and a double break lead in another set, Sinner still has a chance. But there are positives to take with the serve and passing shots being spot-on. Now the focus should be on cutting the unforced errors from neutral and the forecourt.

Stable but it looks like he's losing more and more dynamics in his backhand. Starting to look like a backhand from the 70s.
