An expected defeat to Ferrer. Lets look at the bright side, only 2 more tournaments on clay, after that we can get to see the real Ivan.

Re: ~ Clay season cheering thread ~
I was too late for Gonzalez-Melzer on the M2 court, so I only saw them coming out, signing autographs. I asked someone who would play on that court next and she told me that it was Ivanisevic against Bruguera. I decided to stay and sat down on the left side of the front row.
Guess who came to cheer on Ivanisevic? First it was Zimonjic, and then Ivan who was sitting right next to me.
Later his personal photographer came, took some photos of him and gave him some photos which he had to sign.
They (Ljubo and Zimonjic) were joking around with Ivanisevic (lost in two sets). Ljubicic was also busy checking his sms or whatever on his Palm Pilot/Pocket PC. And yes, I also had a talk with him although I am not too proud about the fact that I didn't know/remember that Bruguera won RG twice. Ivan told me. But I think he also said that the Spaniard had been in the Final 2 more times which is wrong (it's one more time), but maybe I just misunderstood.
Earlier on he also translated into english for me what Ivanisevic had said in croatian at some point of the match.

im sure he is not worried about it, with a 7 seed at RG, he might be able to get some pts back, and he is playing next week, which he could win
but the summer and rest of year will be his time. im expect QF or better at rest of the AMS and same for Wimbledon and USO.

I don't think there were any.
I don't remember clearly what it was about, but I think Ivanisevic said after a mistimed shot that he wouldn't make that kind of error on an other court or something.
