7 hours time difference to Paris/Berlin in my opinion. So he'll play around 10:30 pm.

The next task is to find a doubles draw.

Yeay that Nico is finally playing!

But oh no about the flights. That means he's in a terrible mood, and who knows what his attitude will be like on court. I hope he tries - he really really really needs to get 2-3 matches on clay in before qualifying in MC.

Hopefully Nico won't have to qualify there - he definitely will in Rome and Hamburg because his ranking is lower now. But we won't know about MC until just before. Again, with Andy and James playing DC on hardcourt - they'll never go to MC. So just need 2 more.

only 1 if Roddick and Blake don't play, Nico is 3rd on the alternate list.

Thanks for the update - didn't realize Lleyton dropped out.

El Pescado is another possibility.

He should be playing Houston next week, and he will be at the US tie this weekend as the 5th man. I looked back at his record since 2003 to now - and unless I missed it, he didn't play in MC in any of those years.

Nico's match is around 4:30 p.m. NY time. So when I get home from work around 6:00 p.m., I'll call down to Houston. Hopefully someone will be around so we can find out if Nico won or not. But I'm not really hopeful that someone will pick up the phone.

) I think the Sunrise people called them and told them about us, so they're not answering their phone during Nico's matches now.
