So because I'm in the main draw against the fourth seed, I don't have to send in any picks for the qualifying matches... is that right?

Also I was wondering how exactly doubles works. I'm under the impression that it's simply: Both you and your doubles partner send in picks for the singles matches and your scores are put together? Does it matter whether or not we send in the same picks as our partner? Would it be wise to send in different picks from our partners'? Many thanks to anyone who can clear this up for me in advance.

Yes. No qualifying matches in this one. Play starts on monday for everyone. [Except for the top seeds ]
