Well I didn't see all the match (sorry guys) because there was so much going on at Wimbledon yesterday - sorry Frens, you know I have to put my Nole above everyone else  But I think Zhenya just got very nervous and "choked" I hate hearing that word describing anyone, and I rarely use it, but it was pretty much the only way to describe what happned and I am sad for it

Yes, it appeared to be a choke. He was playing so good up until he was serving for the match.

Zhenya's problem I think was that he still has a few things to learn, especially how to control his nerves on!!! But apart from it I guess the boy's on the right track!!! Sometimes you're able to overcome, others you're not!!! Let's hope next time he can!!!

I miss Zhenya.  He will be playing in Stuttgart next week, along with Nadal, Gasquet, and JCF. I hope I can see him play.

Well, I checked entry lists for all the tournaments this summer (MD and qualifying) and Zhenya is only on one!! Pilot Pen New Haven, the week before the USO.  He's only playing one tournament before the USO. That's not very smart imho.

The draw is out for NH. Zhenya's first match is against Rochus. That can be a tricky match so I hope our man comes out the winner.

We so don't know what to expect ... i mean he's been inactive on tour for more than a month now ... and it's a change of surface ...
anyway ... let's hope for the best, we'll see ...
the thing is that his draw is not that bad except for Igor in the secound round ... so there's room for "good zhenya" to do something in this tournament !!

yeah but Igor is playing good these days (at least last week he was)... and we don't know how is Zhenya ...
well i'm looking at the scoreboard right now and it seems he's doing ok...

obviously the second i said that he started messing it up .... Rochus leads now 5/4 and serves for the set ... i'm outta here !
