His ranking isn't high enough. He'd have to qualify so I guess he doesn't want to go through the effort.

L.R., does Zhenya train at the Nikki Pilic academy? Is that in Munich? i know Gulbis trained in Munich and Pilic coaches him. I was just wondering if they trained together growing up.

I don't get here half as much as I should

I did see a bit of the match with Santoro when I was in Paris,- but it was always going to be hard for him - playing the tricky "Magician", and the French crowd

I think it's quite a wise decision for him to skip grass - he can pick up some valuable points in smaller tournaments like Warsaw and Stuttgart - good luck to him

I know Zhenya sometime now and I've supporting him ever since last year's EO!!!

It's always tricky to play Fabrice!!! He's one of those examples of a great player that's still out there playing well despite his age!!!

That's where last year I finally had the chance to see Zhenya play live!!! He was such a sweetheart with us!!! Quite surprised we knew him, that I might thank to Annie and the wonderful world of Davis Cup!!!

Apparently, he IS playing Wimbledon. I just assumed he had to qualify like he did for RG. I didn't see his name on the qualifications list so I thought he might skip grass. Oops.

As i told you the other day, i just asked about the next one, so i had no clue about the grass season, i assumed he would play lol
He could have skipped it though, cause he doesn't really like grass that much, and he did skip it once... but it's not his thing to refuse a battle... plus he has pretty much nothing to lose this year, he lost so many points last season because of the injuries...
