I really think what he needs to do is fire himself up a bit. He's just emotionless out there and also doesn't look confident in the way he's playing shots. His backhand has been fairly solid, coming over the ball well and not too many into the middle of the net. What I think it is, Simone didn't give himself much of a chance coming into the match.

I think his memories of last year are too fresh. He needs a bit of a break, some luck or something, but hopefully for the remainder of the match he is more aggresive. He is basically playing into Hewitt's hands every single point.

Second set over. Just ntohing from Bolelli. Not moving up the court... first serve poor. His backhand has made 13 UE's... terrible game from him. Ive rarely seen him play with such a lack of motivation.

Better third set but bad tie-breaker. Still its another experience for him and R3 is the best he has been at Wimbledon. Also he beat Gonzalez here at Wimbledon, so many positives to take for Simo going into some clay events and then the US summer season.

Sad that it had to end so soon for Sexybol, but he made the most of the draw he was given and has improved on grass. Next year I'm sure he'll do even better.

No nice end, but good that he reached 3rd round. But after the other two grass tournies I am happy he could reach 3rd round and yeah I also think he can do better next year, he needs some more grass experience.
I hope he'll now indeed go to Germany to play bundesliga, like he told me earlier. I really would like to see him play again.

Hey all!

Simo played Bundesliga today with his team Aachen. Not long after I arrived there, Simo came out of the building and as soon as he saw me and my friend he greeted us. (remembered us from the many days I was there to support him in Düsseldorf). We didn't have a long chat though, because we noticed he was looking for someone. Not much later we noticed who he was looking for, because he was there with his girlfriend. He was so sweet together with her! And it was nice to see him os happy.

I enjoyed to watch his matches, got some good pics again will post them another time I am quite busy this weekend. He played okey, in singles he could've done a lil better (he won 7-5, 7-6 vs Ferreiro) and doubles was great, he played with Steve Darcis. Great doubles they are together, I like Steve a lot as well.

He told me that he'll play Bundesliga one more time, on coming sunday. But I won't be able to go then sadly.
