Default Re: ATP rankings - U18

Last week first future win for David Souto (1992, Venezuela) and first challenger win for Guillaume Rufin (1990, France). Challenger quarter-final for Del Bonis (1990) ... but Rufin takes him first place for generation 1990 for this year's ATP points.

Also futures finals for Arguello, Collarini (both Argentinians from 1992), Struvay (Colombian born december 1990), Daniel Evans (1990).

(please add some if I forgot)

Here's an update on the 26th of october of the top-10s for the number of points since the first of january (note that I count the results of the futures at once)

Generations 1991 and younger :
1. Bernard Tomic (1992) 150 points
2. Grigor Dimitrov (1991) 143 points
3. Yuki Bhambri (1992) 120 points
4. Filip Krajinovic (1992) 114 points
5. Yang Tsung-Hua (1991) 106 points
6. Ryan Harrison (1992) 105 points
7. Lim Yong-Kyu (1991) 95 points
8. Andrey Kuznetsov (1991) 91 points
9. Pablo Carreno-Busta (1991) 55 points
10. Nikoloz Basilashvili (1992) 48 points

Generation 1990:
1. Guillaume Rufin (Fra) 279 points
2. Federico Del Bonis (Arg) 243 points
3. Vladzimir Ignatik (Blr) 149 points
4. Daniel Evans (GB) 145 points
5. Jerzy Janowicz (Pol) 124 points
6. David Goffin (Bel) 122 points
7. Milos Raonic (Can) 104 points
8. Guido Pella (Arg) 102 points
9. Andoni Vivanco-Guzman (Esp) 90 points

I think Patrik Brydolf (SWE) should be in the top 1000 as well. The ranking on ATP's site has some errors (like always ). He has 12 ranking points at the moment. Hopefully they will fix it soon because we need a swede on the list

There's no error with his ranking and/or points.
I think I see what made you think he has 12 points - he indeed has 12 points gained by playing doubles. For singles ATP ranking Brydolf has 6 points - not enough to make top 1000.

Ranking points breakdown on ATP site is sometimes initially shown for doubles performance even if you click on player's single points displayed on the ranking list.

Interesting to see that the generation 1992 is doing better than than 1991! 3 of the first 4 are from 1992!!!
And grigor got plenty of WCs...

Agree. Better than 1990 and 1989 too, IMO. And some more of 1992s are yet to start playing regularly on pro tour .

Thanks for pointing that out to me, ATP doesn't make it easy to follow the ranking

I must be getting old, I was certain he made the semis in singles a few weeks ago but now I see he only made it to the quarters. Life is hard when you pass 25...
