Re: Come & cheer for Fab on the Tour
Fab lost to Berdych in singles pretty early in Halle, but, Nenad & him are in the final today, defending their title against Aspelin/Knowle. Good luck!!

Re: Come & cheer for Fab on the Tour
Fab retired.
"Belgian Kristof Vliegen also moved through to the second round after Frenchman Fabrice Santoro retired down 6-3, 1-1 with an upset stomach."

Re: Come & cheer for Fab on the Tour
In "L'Équipe" he says he actually retired because of personal problems, but doesn't want to tell more about it. He just hopes he will be able to play Wimbledon, it doesn't look sure yet:

Re: Come & cheer for Fab on the Tour
I'm sorry to read about that. Never good when you have to pull out because of personal pbs.

Re: Come & cheer for Fab on the Tour
Time for Wimbledon. Fab plays Karlovic for the 1st round. I guess it's gonna be tough, given how confident Ivo must feel after his win in Nottingham. But good luck anyway!! Allez!!

Re: Come & cheer for Fab on the Tour
After the Karlovic match:
"I had a very tough first round against a player who is one of the 10 best players on grass imo. It's the first time in my life I played 5 sets without having a single break point until the very last game. It's really not much, all the more since my return is considered pretty good. But against a guy who is serving at 230 km/h (31 aces yesterday)... He knows the opponent will be frustrated. It is indeed annoying, but you must try not to show it. I kept cool and I waited for the occasion which came very, very late... Concerning the last lob, I had 1/10 of s to think about the right shot. If you add his 2,08 m, plus the arm, plus the racquet, plus the spring, you're not far from 4 m. Not far from the clouds! It's the kind of lob I pull off maybe once every 10 times."
His audio interview in French:
http://www.fft.fr/wimbledon/2007/?id=2860
