Re: Misha's back for the end of the season
Hi Ted Sorry I didn't see the match - no livestreams allowed at work But I wish him luck for the rest of the tournament.

Re: Misha's back for the end of the season
Unfortunately Misha lost
[12] R Schuettler (GER) d [8] M Youzhny (RUS) 63 67(12) 64
I guess this is due to a lack of matches, a lack of confidence... Moreover, Schuettler is having some kind of a renaissance lately... (since Wimbledon actually)

Re: Misha's back for the end of the season
Youzhny / Zverev won the doubles crown in Tokyo AIG Open, no one even talked about it. I feel like there's only one Mishafan left, which is ME
They defeated two teams of specialists: Aspelin / Knowle (61 36 10-8) and Paes / Dlouhy (63 64) en route to the title...

I'm still a Misha fan.................. it's just that my job is so hard these days - I can't really access MTF from work anymore, and the hours are longer than I'm used to, - so I'm finding it hard to fit everything in and be around as much as I used to be I'd never desert him though!

Re: Misha's back for the end of the season
Gabashvili defeated Misha 75 46 76 in about three hours of play...
another first round exit..
Misha had broken in the 3rd set though... he was leading 31 then 42, but got evened by Teimuraz at 4-4, who then had a MP à 5-4 on Misha's serve...
saved.. 5-5
Gabahsvili had another MP at 6-5 on Misha's serve... saved again. 6-6. Then Misha totally collapsed in the tie-break where he had to face 6 MP..
I don't even understand why he's having such a horrible season since the end of the Australian Open... He didn't even play well in tournaments where he feels good such as Dubai, Rotterdam, Munich.. Only Wimbledon stands out with a 4th round run.. which corresponds to what he's used to. Apart from that.. it's chaos

Tennis is such a mental game I guess once things start going wrong, players start to worry, and get tense, and their losses play on their minds, - and this makes them more nervous and more prone to making silly errors, and it's just a viscious circle. I'm sure he will back successfully next year - he is too good a player to have two bad years like this.

Excuse me, I know English badly, but I very love Michael Youzhny
Yesterday Misha with friends there was on the base of soccer club zenith from Peterburg. They played football with such footballers as Arshavin, Timoschuk et al. Except for Misha here are tennis players of Kudryavcev, Golubev, and also brother of Misha Andrey and trainer Boris Sobkin. Here is video http://www.tv100.ru/gallery/video/news/2033/page/1/
