Guillaume Rufin
Am I missing something or he hasn't got a thread of his own ?
I heard about him on the junior tour especially in the french championship that he won 2 times and with Paire they looked very promising. It seems to be true today with their good showing in RG.
I learned more about him in l'équipe of today. He seems to be quite a funny guy, thoughtless but also smart (good student at least). The part that cracks me up is when his coach says he spent the whole sunday before his match in a music store testing every guitar instead of taking some rest. Gotta love that
Next match against Melzer which 'll be hard since it's hardly the kind of game he must be used to play.
Come on Guillaume

Re: Guillaume Rufin
Daniela posted a video of him in Gaël's forum the other day:

There also was a video about him on the FFT website some time ago, that's how I became aware of him:

Re: Guillaume Rufin
I was watching again the FFT video I posted last time and he says in it he has a soft spot for grass.
He's very cool on the court, never loses his composure, it's one of his main qualities.
("Bac littéraire", Margareta, if it can make up for his "boring" game!)

Why can't their be a tennis player with an exciting game, good looks and some intellectual capabilities, all together? Yep, I want superman.

Re: Guillaume Rufin
BTW for fans of music, his coach offered him "after the gold rush" by Neil Young after his win. Would have loved a coach like that to get some motivation training in some cold winter when I was a youngster.
