Re: ^^Jonathan Eysseric^^
 Marine won't be happy...
Thanks a lot for the pics though. Nice that he stayed to watch all those other matches. He's partner with some of those who played in club, isn't it? He kind of seems happy to please his first few groupies in the pics... LOL Or maybe he had training, if, as you said, you really mitrailled him with flashes...
And the translation of gentil would rather be "nice"...

#1 junior and AO finalist.
He's a lefty, which I doubt you are.

I doubt the pronounciation is the same though...
Well, he didn't win a Jr GS like Chardy to earn the thread but well, Chardy was 18 when he won his, while Jon was 16 when he reached his 1st Jr. GS final so... Maybe, all in all...

how many different ways are there of pronouncing it?
the spanish say: "Yonatan", the french say: "Gjonathan", not too much variety

Nope. The French "an" is very different and normally Spanish-speakers (unless they are Catalans sometimes...) aren't able to pronounce it. Same with English-speakers btw...
Let's try. Jo (without the Dj sound, just J...) - Nah - Tan (= "ã" in phonetical alphabet...). Good luck!
For it to be pronounced in French like in English it would have to be written something like Djonaithane, and like in Spanish Yonathane.
