This is way late, but I'm pretty sure he got hurt at the end of last year which is why he pulled out of the last Challnger or two last fall. I'm gonna say he has a re-occurrence of that injury which is why he pulled out of the Aussie and Chennai qualies this year.

Re: Donald Young
He beat a qualifier, Andis Juska who I've never heard of ( ) 6-4, 6-7 (5), 7-5
Anyway a win is a win and it was about time, so good job Don. He will play 6th seeded Japanese player Go Soeda now Good luck

Re: Donald Young
Wow "THE DON" has just beaten Kendrick 2-6/7-5/6-3 and has reached the final against Isner , he's been an absolute mess all year but suddenly that old 'Donald magic' has shown up once again , the last time i saw Kendrick he gave Tsonga a good fight at Indian Wells and Kendrick had beaten Donald soundly in their last two meetings even though Donald got the better of him before then but it seems like something has clicked with Young Donald again, has he finally done the right thing and dumped his parents? , firstly i can't believe he came from a set down and secondly it's a shock to see he held his nerve towards the end of the vital second set, well done son , it's hard to believe he's still only 19 years old and people have totally written him off already (even i have at times) but hopefully he'll gain some good confidence from this and take the final.

Re: Donald Young
That is so cool
After that really close win in the first round against Juska I figured it was just a pathetic win and he would bomb out in the next round, but I also thought he might gain confidence from pulling through and finally winning a match, I guess that was right
Is he playing next week?

Re: Donald Young
Hopefully Don can do well in the French Open wildcard playoff. The field is him, John Isner, Scoville Jenkins, Evan King, Jesse Levine, Michael McClune, Nathan Pasha, and Rhyne Williams. Good luck .
