Default Guillermo 'double fault' Coria

Anyone know whats up with Coria at the moment? Injured? When should we expect him back on tour? Anyone with any news, it would be appreciated!

Default Re: Guillermo 'double fault' Coria

(You can ask in his forum when you need this kind of informations, there is a new Coria thread every other week in GM.)

He officially withdrew from Viña because of a thigh injury.
Not sure it's the main reason though, he just said himself last time that he's decided not to play tournaments yet and he will tell when he is ready to come back.
So the real reasons are not very clear, he might just not feel ready yet. He took a very long break last year without picking up a racket and they're still working on his serve and making some changes according to Gumy's last interview (his coach), I guess he won't come back until he can serve decently.

The people from Buenos Aires are ready to give him a WC, of course, but he hasn't said he's going to play there.
