I'll copy here what my site's reporter wrote about Jesse in Izmir
Amritraj d. Levine 76 62
I was waiting for this match, and it turned out to be quite a good match. Levine, who is a leftie, is a quick guy around the court and Amritraj is a serve & volley player; and this makes a good contrast for a good match. First set went with serve to the TB, some exciting rallies and amazing net covarage by the Indian. Levine had to hit big returns or amazing passes to win points on the Indian's serve. After the 12 games without break Levine opened a 4-1 lead in the TB, but after that he saw that lead slip away and lost the TB 5-7.
It was close at the start of the 2nd set, but after the break for Indian it went downhill pretty quickly.
Actually, I liked Levine's game, it is good but in this match he didn't produce his best, I felt if he could play one level better he could win this in two, but he just couldn't find that consistency. On the other hand, all credit to Indian, he kept his serve & volley game so consistent,I waited for one poor passage on serve but it never came. Levine was moaning about the some calls to umpire Załoga. Those were tough calls to overrule but I saw both of them clearly wrong decisions.
