Re: Jesse Levine
interesting choice to attempt another clay CH instead of just going to england and really getting a lot of grass practice time in....

Re: Jesse Levine
Pavel Chekhov RUS 3 7 9
v
Jesse Levine USA (18) 6 6 11
real nailbiter, that 3rd set was not necessary
but nonetheless good that he's through
against Capdeville or Kudryavtsev for the main draw spot

Re: Jesse Levine
He has the Russian Alexandre Kudryavtsev up next. Anyone know anything about him? I recognized the name (I think) but that's about it. He's at his career high and has played fairly well in his last two tournaments according to the ATP site. Additionally, he's played almost exclusively on hard courts this year, so I'm guessing he probably prefers faster courts. Both had tough matches today and both will be playing in the doubles qualifying tomorrow. Hopefully Jesse can pull through in both.

Re: Jesse Levine
all I know about Kuznetsov is that he's not related to Svetlana and that he played doubles with Jesse at Flushing Meadows last year pretty successfully
and I think he changed citizenship to US
but I cannot believe he's at his career-high, didn't really recognize him during the last tourneys
well, whatever...
win it Jesse

Re: Jesse Levine
Kuznetsov isnt the same person as Kudryavtsev - Kuznetsov is American not familiar with Kudryavtsev at all, but Jesse should be in with a good chance anyway!
