Will Nadal continue to do well & win most of his finals???
What about the not so young balls like Hewitt, Roddick, Safin~> will they ever win Slam Finals again?

Rod Laver`s record in slam finals wasn`t as impressive as either Federer`s or Sampras`s but Laver won 4-in-a-row twice .. Surely that puts Rod up there too

Guga was the greatest of all time. He had a 100% record in GS finals.
ToJo, Costa and Gaudio also deserve a mention for their perfect final records.

Yeah that`s pretty funny Jimnik mate
...
Guga indeed made the most of his opportunities in those Slam finals
...
Honestly though for the old boys [which Guga is now] i don`t think we should include them unless they`ve played in atleast 10-Slam finals ~~>> so Becker, Newcombe etc. just qualify for this list

That's the sad thing about Lendl, he got to the Final more than anyone else ever has, but didn't convert. He had so many chances to be GOAT

Laver's situation is always tricky to talk about because a pre-Open era amateur major title was not exactly a comparable feat to an Open era slam. But even keeping this in mind, the numbers are quite impressive.

In 1960-62, Laver made the final of every major except the 1960 & 1961 French Opens. Then he took 5 years off from the slams as a pro. THEN he came back and, after the start of the Open Era, in 1968-1969 he made the final of every major except the 1968 U.S. Open.

When you look at who Lendl had to play in all of those slam finals, its easy to see why he has a poor record in grand slam finals. I think Lendl has always been underrated in my opinion and I dont know why. He played in the toughest era, and still amassed 8 slam titles, played in more slam finals than anyone, won 94 titles(which I believe is far more impressive than Connor's 109), and was number 1 for 270 weeks!

Now, is it the toughest era, or is it that he didn't find a way to dominate them?
