not sure if I understood you right, but I don't think Gaudio is that kind of a real loser. Sure he has had so many big chokes and IMO he sucks on hardcourt or other surfaces except clay, but still he's a great claycourt player, I think, and he made the final and suffered only tight loss to Robredo.

the way people and even some "so called Gaudio fans" on this board overreacted and exaggerated last week as he had that HELL OF A BLOW against Hewitt is just bad... "Gaudio should seek help soon", "he should stop playing tennis", "he must receive psychological treatment" and whatever it was... LMAO ...one week later the same guy makes the final of a big clay tournament and notches some rock-solid win against quality opponents going through some comparable close situations where he blew the set or the match one week ago.

Yeah. Gaudio is not a loser. He's an elite tennis player. He's not one of my favorites, but he's a long way from a loser.

What I don't get about this place ("this place" being MTF) is that every single time a player so much as sneezes on the court, there's this loud faction of posters who immediately accuse him of "faking" his injury or sickness. How can anyone possibly *know* that someone is faking? They don't, and that's the end of it.

No player walks out on the court with a sign on their neck that says "I was just puking my brains out for the last ten minutes in the locker room", so when they suddenly call a time-out, everyone jumps on him and says he's 'faking' because as spectators, they see nothing outwardly wrong with the player. Most injuries and pain are not visible to us. Duh.

I now understand why some posters were so surprised that nobody attacked Coria when he got kidney stones in Miami.

Well, wasn't there some suggestion that he was a whiner and he had a low pain tolerance?

Yes. I remember it well.

It agitates a really insecure person when he feels threatened that a player is smart enough to beat his amazing idol.
What's idiotic is they'll form a little group of haters and pretend that it's all in light-hearted, good-natured fun. Duck hunt sure attracts so-called knowledgeable women and Einsteins like Georgewhitler.

Hot airheads know what they say aren't true, but they say it to inflate their EGO:
"Robredo isn't that good"
"Spadea is the best US clay player" by Einstein GeorgeWhitler

"Wayne Arthurs is terrible...how pathetic that he beat so and so"
"Latino guys're disrespected cuz people can't tell them apart.
They have ESP and ARG beside their names!"
"Andy's best clay win was against Davydenko" by rebecca the psychologist

Clay BIG BOYS *Moya, Ferrero, Coria, Nalbandian, God Fed...*
will destroy your dignity! Hang your head in shame! :erm:

Andy in straight sets, everything else would be a bit of a surprise I think!

Robredo is 0-6 and 0-15 sets against Andy so far
