According to the ATP site, Gaston will play Ruben Ramirez Hidalgo tonight
Not before 7:30 PM
Gaston GAUDIO (ARG) vs Ruben RAMIREZ-HIDALGO (ESP)
Di Mauro is for tomorrow
Does someone know if we can see the match somewhere on internet? I confess It will be hard for me to follow only a livescore at 11.30PM here

It was a mistake, he is playing RRH.

VAMOS GASTON!!!
This is your chance! All the favourites are losing: Nalbandian, Ferrero, Acasuso, Calleri is out...
I hope this will be the tournament Gastón is waiting for when he will finally find his tennis again!

Re: Carlos Gardel, Vilas, Joaquín Berthold, Babasónicos, helados and Gaston in Bs As
today was a sad day.
that was not Gaudio. It was just a shadow...
he didn't play the match, he suffered it. I'm not sure he is going to play the second match.

Re: Carlos Gardel, Vilas, Joaquín Berthold, Babasónicos, helados and Gaston in Bs As
6-1 6-1 to Ramirez Hidalgo and the hole Gaston in becomes deeper and deeper.
It wouldn't surprise me if he doesn't play his next match against di Mauro.

Well it's easy to support a guy when he is going well, but these are times when he needs support.
Seems that the crowd gave Gaston the "chorus music" after the match as well. It's not surprising it happened, as he is going through a very tough time with his tennis and that's well known.

Re: Carlos Gardel, Vilas, Joaquín Berthold, Babasónicos, helados and Gaston in Bs As
Yes you´re right about supporting him.
I didn´t watch it, and I can be wrong, but I get the feeling that today was not the best day to lose 61 61 there...
I guess the crowd could have booed him anyway without the (lets call it) Acasuso-Calleri "incident".(and I´m not saying they are not truly injured) But maybe that already had the crowd in an special mood...

Re: Carlos Gardel, Vilas, Joaquín Berthold, Babasónicos, helados and Gaston in Bs As
Well the Chucho-Calleri incident, this is not surprising considering the RR format. I mean I hope Jaite is listening and this format sucks for sure.
Gaston has an interesting relationship with the local crowd and him getting the treatment was inevitable considering the score.

Re: Carlos Gardel, Vilas, Joaquín Berthold, Babasónicos, helados and Gaston in Bs As
Gaudio got the support of the public during the match. When it ended, there were boos and whistles.
Its really sad. And although the disapproval from the public was not that big, this is the first time I see it happening with an Argentine player, here in Buenos Aires.

I agree with you Willy, I wonder why Nalbandian didn't get whistled vs. Horna (I mean, if Gaudio was, why not David that played very bad).
Gaudio said in the press conference that the ones that whistled him were the same that applaud him for winning RG 04'... he is very honest, really.

Like I said the same people that pissed on him after Malaga, they wanted to have his babies in 2005 when he won the event as RG champion.
