Normally if a guy gets to the finals of a previous tournament - especially a Slam - they don't play the next week.

Tengo un amigo que está en Australia con Fernando... Es amigo de él desde chico, y me aseguró que Fernando le dijo que si le ganaba a Haas, no juega Vińa... Pero hoy en la mańana, Álvaro Fillol, director del torneo, dijo a canal MEGA de la TV local que Fernando jugará el ATP de Vińa incluso si gana el Australian... :S 
Tal vez le pase la cuenta eso a Fernando para la Davis...

I feel sorry for Fernando - it will kill him to play next week in Vina, but if he doesn't, the Vina tournament is kind of screwed.  With Marcelo dropping out and not many big names, they won't sell as many tickets. I think the pressure will be on him to play no matter what. |

then is when that phrase of "the important ones are the big tournaments" is screwing up again ... I guess that it's going to be a big discussion between the Filliol brothers and Chile deportes, or is Viña or save Fernando for DC ... who knows |
