Yeah, why don't make a poll with 4 legitimate options. And when someone chooses an option that isn't the same as your pick, name it a clownish answer and call that person a clown poster.

This thread doesn't need a poll, the answer is obvious. And yes, you are a clownish Nadaltard, if you think that RG is the post prestigious.

Re: Most Prestigious slam
The US Open by far. New York is the capital of planet Earth. Paris, London and Melborne are out in the sticks.

Debatable choice for capital of the planet, but it is difficult to deny that Wimbledon is the Mecca of tennis, for fans and players alike.

Re: Most Prestigious slam
wimbledon
US OPEN
RG
AUSTRALIAN/YEC
winning all 4 slams without winning the year end championships is like missing a slam
the YEC is definitely more important than everything else but just shy of a slam itself
of course the YEC almost always has the toughest field (LOL with monaco possibly in this year- what an era)
to win the year ends basically says you are the best player from the top 8 elite
it is the elite trophy

Re: Most Prestigious slam
Historically wimbledon has been the most prestigious but I think the other ones are catching up, btw Australian open which is the youngest of the four has the largest purse for the winner.

I also hold the WTF (formerly Masters in Madison Square Garden) in the highest regard. That event of the best of the best has always been awesome. I have the greatest memories of Connors, Borg, McEnroe and Lendl going all out for the title. And Federer winning six times, just incredible. It was in the 2003 Houston event that Roger won all of his round robin matches then took the title and realized that he was the world's most dominant player. Rafa, eat your little cheating heart out!

Re: Most Prestigious slam
Wimbledon, by quite a margin.
Australia though I think has now leap frogged Roland Garros and even US Open. Roland Garros is becoming almost irrelevant in some ways though I enjoyed going to it. It seems stuck with poor PR and can be boring for the non-rabid tennis fan.
