Default here's a tip

If you want to enjoy a good game of tennis using new balls that don't bounce skyscraper high, buy a can of balls pop a whole in the ball with a needle or safety pin and see what it does to the ball. The balls will still bounce but wont come thru as quick and to get the ball deep you will have to really hit thru the ball, the bounces are lowish but it beats playing with balls that bounce shoulder to head height all the time

This sounds dangerously like ball tampering to me. Or trying to mess with people who like high contact points.
