Just a quick report from Miami day one (qualies.)

Got to see Nono practicing yesterday with Nico Escude. I didn't get to take pictures because a.) they were on the far court, which made the zoom worthless and b.) I was chasing around three small children who were behaving like wild indians. But Nono looked very relaxed and happy from what I could tell.

But FotoGordon got some lovely shirtless Nono shots - got to see them already since he's with digiSLR

And since this is also a French thread...I took some nice Benneteau shots at his match as well. He's a cutie pie!

I learned a very important lesson yesterday: under NO circumstances will ALL three of my children attend tennis with me!!!!!!!!!!!! I saw virtually NO tennis and ended up spending the US mint for food. I will be back at the tournament on Wednesday and Thursday sans les enfants and will have camera in hand.

michelle, only a while ago you said it's an advantage to have a child with you, for getting autographs and starting a conversation etc... lol aren't they gonna miss you when you go out to have fun on your own?

yeah i'm sure gordon has all the best equipment lol.... his passion for bare tennis bodies exceeds any other that i've seen so far.... the investment is all worth it i'm sure

One kid getting autographs is fine, but the whole brood creates far too much mayhem for me.

I skipped the tennis today since it was too rainy anyway. But I did have a BLAST at the Benneteau match (ok and since word is that DiP cut his hair, I guess I'll just have Julien's locks to adore) Met some nice people, Ollie R.'s coach, a lovely Frenchman and former player.... Julien dug it out and fought hard to win that match. ALLEZ!

Nobody practiced that was even worth my while, so no Seb sightings or Nono sightings. (given the nature of this forum, I don't think you are all Argie fans, so my pics of Gaudio and Calleri are of no interest...)

I am debating going back to watch doubles sometime next week.
