Lacoste Meets On Madison Avenue
By Richard Pagliaro Tennis week 08/12/2002
Crocodiles are coming to invade Manhattan's Madison Avenue before the start of the U.S. Open. It's not a massive exodus of reptilian renegades from the Bronx Zoo meeting for a shopping spree on the famed Manhattan street, but a gathering of tennis players who wear Lacoste clothes for an autograph session open to the public.
Lacoste endorsers Arnaud Clement, Alex Corretja, Nathalie Dechy, Sebastien Grosjean and Fabrice Santoro will all appear at the Lacoste Boutique on Madison Avenue on Saturday, August 24th from 4-6 p.m. to sign autographs for fans.
To commemorate the occasion, Lacoste returns to its roots with a vintage window presentation, which will feature Rene Lacoste's first tennis blaze to debut the embroidered crocodile, which has become the brand's trademark.
Maybe I should have posted that in the US Open forum or the general one? This board is too big for me.
