could some magnanimous soul please explain me tennis tipping rules and how to get started?
it seems the most popular game in this forum, and pretty interesting too

Example: Doha.
On 17.12. the Doha TT thread will be open.
If you want to play, you should post there that you would like to play.
If your rank is good enough, you'll be on entry list.
The manager (thread starter) does the draw. You get your opponent in the draw. Manager posts OOP for every day. And you are predicting winners of all posted matches in OOP. Example:
Federer-Gonzalez SR3
Nadal-Ancic SR2
Davydenko-Robredo SR1 PTS
Ljubicic-Nalbandian SR4
You send the names of players who you think will win to manager via PM.
SR means you predict the winner in correct sets.
Example:
Federer def. Gonzalez 2-1
When it says SR1 PTS
you should predict the correct SCORE.
Example:
Davydenko def. Robredo 7-6, 3-6, 6-1

Seems like you don't have ranking yet, so it will be hard for you to play on the ATP tourneys in the beginning. You can play challengers.

In few words, Tennis Tipping is a game that works similar like ATP, but has the number of correct picks instead tennis (or tennis points). You play a tournament like a real tournament, you play against other player and wins who has more correct picks of day/round. If you win, you keep in tournament, if you lose, you're out.

Remember: you pick the winners of matches. Set ratios and Points Tie-Breaker is only in case of tie.
