Re: Germany vs Croatia
I have heard that they will play in Krefeld in the Koenigpalast. Its an Icehockeystadium with a capacity of 7500 seats. I dont know on which surface they are going to play. Its an inoffical news. Nicolas Kiefer said it in an interview with the german newspaper "Die Welt".

Re: Germany vs Croatia
what ever germans chose they are going to lose, except maybe clay, but that also wouldn't help, ljubicic in RG semifinals, Mario QF, won Arag Team WC on clay in Dusseldorf....

That's only a number. Doesn't guarantee anything, especially because they are not better than the Germans.

yes only a number that ranks how good a player is, and this proves that Croats are much much better than the shitty Germans.

Is that a photoshop or was Kiefer really in a Bloomberg show?
Krefeld? The atmosphere probably won't be as great as in Halle last year (at least at the beginning), but maybe the team will make up for it by doing the nearly impossible. There shouldn't be too many free seats since the Krefeld stadion will only have 4.600 seats (Halle had more than 11.000 IIRC).
With Germany playing on HC, we really need Kiefer. If Kiefer isn't ready, then possibly Becker. Mayer would have been a good option on clay. Maybe Waske will get us one point in the doubles. Oh well, we'll see how they'll fare in the Aussie Open.

Re: Germany vs Croatia
it a slow hardcourt
the same mistake the americans made in l.a.
clay or even grass, cause ljubo hates grass, were germany's best options by far (although we would have still been the favorites)
