Re: What LEVEL at TENNIS are YOU?
I'm a solid 4.5 looking to move up, of course.
I used to stay back but recent attempts at adding a net game have proven effective. My biggest strength is my two-handed backhand crosscourt - i can hit some pretty nutty angles on that one. Think I can reach 6 or maybe even 7 in the next couple of years.

Re: What LEVEL at TENNIS are YOU?
Probably 4.5-5.0
To win me a match you could probably have to take me out in wheel chair.

Re: What LEVEL at TENNIS are YOU?
I'd say I'm probably midway between 5.0-5.5 and determined to improve as much a possible! I play first singles for my college, but the coach unfortunately doesn't push our team very hard, especially when it comes to conditioning. Another girl on my team and I actually asked if she could push us harder, but she refused! How crazy is that? I have to usually workout myself or go with the mens team when I have time. I'm very athletic so footwork and groundstrokes are my advantages, but usually I'm playing people just as good at them so I have to improve on my confidence and come to the net to end points quicker. My serve could be more consistent too.

Re: What LEVEL at TENNIS are YOU?
I'm a definite 4, coming on towards 4.5! I used the less funny http://pong.telerama.com/~johnv/tennis/tennis17.htm link to determine mine originally. I might be 4.5 on the fun scale!

Re: What LEVEL at TENNIS are YOU?
I'd say I'm a 4.5. I'm definately not as good as I could be because I have been out of it so long, so if I played every day I would be better.

Re: What LEVEL at TENNIS are YOU?
hitchhiker's guide was fun to read
but in australia(n many other countries) use the ITN(international tennis number)
using the ITN conversion chart i'm closest to 3-3.5 in d NTRP: http://www.itftennis.com/shared/medi...3_original.PDF
3 - off day
3.5 - good day
volleys/lobs r still closer to 2.5

Re: What LEVEL at TENNIS are YOU?
When young I was a 4.5 in singles. But now as a Senior I'd say a high 3.0 low 3.5. (I hate doubles!!!)

Re: What LEVEL at TENNIS are YOU?
id say im closest to a 3.5 using that if im playing well. my volleys need work though and im still not good with the slice serve and cant even hit a kick serve. i am alright with ground strokes and my topsin backhand is pretty powerfull now that i have learned how to hit it good. my forehand can be great but sometimes i hit it a bit short.
In the ITN thing i am a 6
the hitchhiker guide i think i would be a 4.0

Re: What LEVEL at TENNIS are YOU?
Yeah I can't really tell using hitchhiker's explanation but in Australia we use the ITN (like chewy stated) and I am about 5 and using the link chewy provided I am around level 4.5
