Re: Have you ever been to a Live Tennis Tournament?
I've been to Cincinnati and Indianapolis, years and years ago, back when Andre was wearing hot pink spandex under his shorts. We got to see Andre Agassi lose horribly to Peter Lundgren in Indianapolis. Boris Becker won the tournament eventually. Yannick Noah was there, as well. It was a lot of fun. But when I came back to tennis earlier this year it was quite a shock to see Peter Lundgren again as Marat's coach when I remember him from 1990, all muscular and with long blonde hair.

Re: Have you ever been to a Live Tennis Tournament?
i like live tennis but the events ive been to are usually small and only have seats running parallel the court so im forever looking left and right like ping pong. a couple things why i love tv are the excellent angles and replay and the commentary. but yeah, no matter how boring a match in person its always faster than a televised match.

Yikes! No wonder Lundgren's pupils have managed pretty well against Andre.
Lundgren def. Agassi
6-4 6-0
That was their only career meeting.

Lundgren could play when he felt like it.

Re: Have you ever been to a Live Tennis Tournament?
Indian Wells when Guga had to play two consecuitve matches, the semifinal, and final on the final day. It rained in Indian Wells! Safin was there, Hewitt, Roddick with the little guy as his coach, and Kafelnikov (I got a picture with him close up). I think I might go to the Australian Open this coming year.

Re: Have you ever been to a Live Tennis Tournament?
I have been to the Toronto Masters this past summer. Caught the semifinal between Federer and Gonzalez and the final between Federer and Gasquet. It was a "damn near religious experience", is what it was! Have a look at the (many) photos I took, if you wish:

Re: Have you ever been to a Live Tennis Tournament?
Wimbledon many times. Queens a few times. Several local tournaments, some of which I've competed (and lost horribly) in. Also been to Umag once, strange tournament. It felt surreal being there.
