Is he injured (again)? He pulled out of a lot of tournaments lately...

Shoulder injury for Edu. Unfortunately every time Edu starts getting back into decent form, he gets injured again. His physical fitness simply isn't good enough to play singles for more than a few weeks without getting hurt again. His name isn't on any entry lists the next several weeks but he has been nominated on the Davis Cup team and will be playing doubles with presumably Nalbandian for Argentina next week vs Croatia. I'm guessing he'll be playing ATP qualifying events afterward given his name not being on challenger entry lists, as the tour heads to clay.

Edu and David won their doubles tie 3-6 7-6(6) 6-3 6-7(6) 8-6 over Cilic/Karlovic and Croatia and the Argentines won the tie 4-1 over Croatia to advance to the SF vs Czech Republic! Edu's very skilled in doubles and really carried David at times. The two didn't play their best but fought until the end and hit some great returns in to break in the third set and eventually win.

Hopefully Edu can start translating his doubles successes into singles.

Edu into R2 of Roland Garros with an easy win over an injured Karlovic. Good chance to make a match of his next opponent, Flo Mayer.

Edu is returning next week in Santos for first since october. He reached 3R Roland Garros last year and played olympics. This is great. Vamos Edu!
