Re: David's Last Name
Hey everyone! I'm so glad you guys have a thread on David's last name, coz I was beginning to think I was the only one noticing the "Nalbondian" and all those things...hehe....
But I have a question, not on the pronunciation of course, but on the origin of his lastname... Nalbandean is an Armenian lastname, and I was wondering whether it's got something to do with his Nalbandian... I think so, but I dunno if you guys can help me sort it out!
Thanks!

Re: David's Last Name
Hi Maggie, welcome to this board.. maybe this will help a little this was today in an interview about david
...
Davids cousin Stefan is always watching the matches of David Nalbandian sitting
close to Javier,Davids brother. He is an Nalbandian fan and pilot of
American Airlines. They are not relatives, but according to the
genealogical tree, their greats-grandfather would be two Armenian
brothers who looked for new horizons; one left to New York, the
other, to Cordova.
so hope this answers your question

They'd still be blood relatives, if their grandfathers are brothers like you say they are-except the relation would be "distant", if you know what I mean.
