^ I've mentioned that he was playing tie-breaks in the deciding set very rarely. His record is only 7-3!

Karlovic played an astonishing amount of tiebreaks in the US Open in 2003 although I know none of the scores in those tiebreaks.

6 in a row (3 won over Arazi, 3 lost to Schalken) he repeated it in Australian Open '04 (3 won over Fish, 3 lost to T.Martin).

I'm guessing 12 consecutive tiebreak sets played in Grand Slams is a record.

It shouldn't be shocking because Robredo is one of the strongest mentally players on the tour. He has very good record in each "mental stats". And this year was just one tie-break to equal Roddick's record. He had won 17 tie-breaks in a row before lost to Sela at Wimbledon.
