Would you have said that Haider-Maurer has the game to beat him? I agree that de Bakker isn't at that level, but form is what matters in this sport, and Soderling is not on it right now. A lot can happen in a week though, so we'll see.
His form is pretty good. Very easy win against Gicquel and he had a semi-final in New Haven. Also won before against Lopez and Monaco.
Although I don't like the way he plays very much lately. Too far behind the baseline and too defensive.
