At least we can look forward to Shanghai and probably seeded spot at the Masters in a while... Tommy should be 18th next week, so Roger and Nalbandian not playing should give Tommy #16 spot...

I'll believe that he participates in Shanghai if he will finally be on court. Travelling to Asia for one week makes no sense in my opinion. He'll lose early without a good preparation and acclimatisation.

It would be a joke if he also wouldn't play Shanghai. And you're right, this is no good preparation at all. He is bceoming a journeyman instead of a tennis pro...

Yep, I'd call it a joke as well. Tokyo was such a good chance to gain points...
He said he would take some pictures in Shanghai...So I think he will play there. However, his performance will come out of a "magical bag" and I'd be very interested in when Tommy will fly to Shanghai to start preparing for the masters.

It's been confirmed by Tommy himself, via Bild.de. Season's over. Do you believe that shit? How much can one guy take?!
It shouldn't be too dangerous for a healthy and trained man, as he himself also pointed out; about as tough as the regular, seasonal flu (which also kills a lot of people each year, which people seem to forget in the face of the swine flu), but's it's so unfortunate nontheless.
