Re: Top Ten attack! A ranking prediction.
Cool thread. I hope you're right about him being top ten, but I'd rather him win everything next year.

Re: Top Ten attack! A ranking prediction.
I don't think there is much to it really . he'll be top 10 after AO if he plays a good warmup , at the very latest after Indian Wells and Miami . Then he's got a whole lot of other points to pick up in Monte Carlo, Rome and Frankfort .

Re: Top Ten attack! A ranking prediction.
Nalbandian joins the ranking.
I had Nalbandian making the Semis in Paris, so his withdrawl costs him a lot of points. Now Novak passes him at Hamburg and grabs the 8th seed for RG.
Nalbandian needs to play more tournaments if he wants to keep my prediction from coming true.
Baghdatis's withdrawl moves his date with the chopping block up to Miami Masters week.

Re: Top Ten attack! A ranking prediction.
A little more tinkering. I'm now going through RG fortnight. Which puts Berdych and Robredo ahead of Novak, so I can stop worrying about them. But it puts Ljubicic into play (I've got him falling out of the top 10).
I also decided that Gasquet will be ranked #6 after RG.

Very interesting thread you have created here. I would be very surprised if Djokovic was not in the top 10 before Wimbledon next year.

Re: Top Ten attack! A ranking prediction.
An Adelaide final would make up for not going to Zagreb, and keep Novak on track for the top 10 after RG.
Now I'll have to factor Murray in.

Re: Top Ten attack! A ranking prediction.
he should be top 10 soon much to the pain of hateful Jon Wertheim. This person just has me convoluted every time I have msfortune of reading his non substantiated and hollow "article"
He looks to take away any credit from him and slander him when possible. I think he just hates Serbian people since he acts similar to other Serbian players in which case he should be writing for new york times or bbc or any other mainstream western liberal outfit where I can expect that trash and safely ignore it I am so sick of him and his deceptive hate
more hate disguised as analysis
http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/200...tte/index.html
he doesn't get mentioned for a breakthrough player lol
http://sports.yahoo.com/ten/news;_yl...nnsi&type=lgns
and who made sure that Novak doesn't get mentioned among the teen players during USO last year? I bet Jon had a good smile about it

Re: Top Ten attack! A ranking prediction.
Murray is on the chart. They're going to trade back and forth (like they've been doing) for a while, until Novak puts some distance between them in the clay season.

he should take off before that , got loads of points to pick up at AO and masters events and he looks very confident. His breakthrough will come out very soon

I think both will start doing very well, but Novak will do very well on clay also. Something Mr. Murray does not seem capable of.
