In his dairy Stefan said he played the best he has in three years. Good for him. Now he plays Moya and it will be an exciting match. Wish we could see it. Good luck to both.

Stef is on fire at the moment and he is handling Moya easily, just hope he can keep it up.

Stef has kept up his excellent work and gave a Moya a good hiding 6-3 6-1 and has a big chance to win his 4th title against Malisse.

Unseeded Koubek, who beat two seeded players to reach the semi-finals, felled twice winner and fifth seed Moya in 63 minutes.

Koubek broke world number 43 Moya, runner-up last year, in the eighth game to win the first set.

"Everything I did worked. I was on top of him. It was a perfect day," said world number 80 Koubek.

wow stefan
i don't know if you speak german but here's an german article from www.sport1.at

Not everyone speaks German, but basically he is delighted with how everything is going.

He didn't care about Moya's Chennai record or his 1-3 H2H and played riskier shots than usual and improved his service.

"It's unbelievebable. All I had imagined for myself just worked out perfectly", said Koubek after his 2nd sucess over Moya.

He is 0-3 in H2H against Malisse, though they haven't played for a while and he is close to the top 50 now with this result.

Sometimes I loathe tennis. More so, when someone I like, loses to someone who has the ability to consistently irritate me.

Still, Koubek has points, and match practice. He may not have won, but it was a good week.
