I get the feeling it's pretty addictive once you start cataloging your books, which is why I haven't done it - I spend enough time procrastinating on the internet as it is!

Re: Which book do you currently read?
I just finished The Remains of the Day by Kazuo Ishiguro. An excellent, excellent book.

Re: Which book do you currently read?
From Baghdad, With Love - Lieutenant Colonel Jay Kopelman with Melinda Roth

Kopelman kind of reminds me of Jim Thomas... I think, mostly due to the absence of hair. It's about a group of Marines who come across a puppy in an abandoned building in Fallujah, and how he impacts on their stay in the area.

Read it and will read again. That supernatural stuff freaked me out, but it's a good read.

Just finished this book. The main character, Esperanza, sort of reminds me of Ramona Quimby from Beverly Cleary's books.
Next up: fellow Kentuckian Barbara Kingsolver's The Bean Trees. I'm thinking about designing a unit on this book and a couple of others-maybe The Color of Water and another one.
