Re: Jamie 'Stretch' Murray thread
Of course, the combined singles/doubles ranking of those two are high enough to ensure no worries about getting into the main draw...

Re: Jamie 'Stretch' Murray thread
It was a good match, Jamie was really effective. I think James was the weak link in the team. Ljubo was solid and Gonzo was on fire

Re: Jamie 'Stretch' Murray thread
Thanks for the report
I was kind of hoping they would win, but its okay. James and Jamie have never played before so they gave a good match for a new team. Onto Cincy, with Mahesh Bhupathi.

Jamie and Mahesh take on Todd Perry and Juan Monaco in the first round and could play Bob and Mike Byran in the 2nd.
Good Luck!!

Re: Jamie 'Stretch' Murray thread
Jamie watched his brother play Fognini, too. I thought you'd like the detail
Jamie is a really good doubles player, he has definitely potential to win Grand Slams and such, with the right partner. Bhupathi and him will be very interesting.
Really, he should've done better in Montreal, but Blake was a terrible partner choice
I really enjoy watching him play doubles He has such great net skills.

Re: Jamie 'Stretch' Murray thread
They lost 6-3 6-2 ...
Disappointing that it wasn't closer in the second set
Maybe they'll play again together.

I am playing with Querrey taking on Zimojic-Djokovic today (tues). Re: Jamie 'Stretch' Murray thread
Ah, thanks a lot jitterbug ^^
Where was that taken from?
Wonder if they'll be seeded for USO. Top 30 players... it's possible, I think.
Why do they call him stretch?
EDIT: Found it on Wikipedia
Being so young, though, he may become a top doubles player in time. It's just experience
Seeing him in Montreal was really impressive, he's fun to watch!!
