Well, he isn't playing in the Alphen challenger next week. I think the 8th of September he's planning to play in Ljubljana? ( did I spell that right, dont think so ). And if that goes well, he was going to play DC.
And he said that he's already playing tennis again but he can't really run fast yet (hence the reason he dropped out of Alphen). He said he needed that extra week of preparation before he could start playing again.
So if everything goes according to plan, he should be playing Ljubljana challenger in September and than DC. He hasn't cancelled it yet, so there's still some hope
Good to see that his knee appears to be holding up.
Tess, I wanted to go to DC but I'd have to go by train as well which would be expensive and I thought the tickets were fairly expensive as well so I won't be going either
Anyone know when Robin will be playing again, he was on the entry list for a challenger in Belgium next week but it seems he's pulled out. I hope the knee isn't giving him any more serious problems but I'm slightly worrid about it since he's hardly been able to play since having surgery and his knee was still giving him some problems during the weekend of the DC tie. He's still on the alternates lists for Stockholm and Vienna but unless a number of players withdraw he won't be getting direct entry so it looks like he'll need to play qualifying for those events. Not sure what his plans are for the rest of the year, most important thing now is having his knee heal properly I guess.
thank you for the information. hope you although had a great weekend there! when i saw the ties i was really happy that i decided to stay home
hopefully he can play soon again!
You're definitely not a student! As we don't come for the matches, but for the atmosphere and the parties afterwards. A pity that we didn't just were 3-0 after saturday so that the players could join our party!
